Exercise and Service have been Mantras for Avi since his childhood days as a very hyperactive kid. He is a First Degree Black Belt in Karate, and has played several other conventional sports throughout his life, which fostered his interest in the human body and more importantly, how it functions optimally. In addition, he believes that the ultimate fulfilment one can experience is when they are in service to others. In order to combine the two guiding principles of his life, Avi became a Registered Massage Therapist.
Avi is a Registered Massage Therapist in good standing with the CCHPBC and has experience treating a plethora of clients ranging from stroke survivors to professional tennis players. He particularly enjoys working with clients who have experienced any injuries or discomfort with their shoulders.
For close to 3 years, Avi was a trusted Registered Massage Therapist in Toronto, Ontario for clients at Foundation Physiotherapy & Wellness and his own personal Mobile Massage business.
He has been practicing in BC for 2 years now and is a key member of the EastWest team.
In his free time, he loves to be surrounded by friends, both old and new, in order to drum up deep psychological questions. He enjoys understanding the entirety of what makes someone the way they are, were, and who they want to be going forward. Global Law Enforcement Fitness Assessments, sprinting, basketball, and bodybuilding are the main ways that he stays active but is more than happy to compete in any physical endeavor because after all, if you aren’t competing, you’re losing. Lastly, strong family values are what shapes his outlook on life, because the universe conspired to provide them as a gift to you, as you are to them.
Elizabeth believes regular moderate physical activity is crucial to maintaining physical and mental health. As we all age, our body does not heal as fast and regular exercise can help minimize injuries and speed recovery of tissues. Elizabeth has experience treating a variety of clients ranging from workplace injuries, postpartum aches and pains, acute/ chronic musculoskeletal injuries, to the recreational or competitive athlete. She particularly enjoys working with recreational runners, being a runner herself since she was in elementary school.
In her free time she loves to laugh and have fun! She enjoys spending time in nature, playing with her two young boys, and trying out new baking recipes. Running and gym exercises are the main ways she stays healthy throughout the year. She also enjoys long hikes (especially ones that end up on a high mountain!), biking, yoga, recreational volleyball, and badminton. She can speak Mandarin, Cantonese, and English (or Singlish when she feels like going back to her Singaporean roots!).
Originally from Hong Kong, Mike moved to Vancouver, BC as a young child. Being active in sports and developing an interest in rehabilitation, his goal was to study to become a Physiotherapist. Through injuries and managing other health conditions, Mike was exposed to the rich history and effects of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and has always appreciated the value of their principles and techniques.

He has helped clients achieve their recovery goals - from those who have suffered injuries through work and motor vehicle accidents - to the recreational warrior and national level athletes.
Mike’s lifelong passion is playing basketball and tennis and finding the hidden secrets to slow down the aging process to keep up with his young active children.
